Named Accountable GP


All patients that register at Cassio Surgery will be given a Named Accountable GP who will take lead responsibility for their care. You will be informed when you register who that is.

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association(BMA) suggested scales and we will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

You will be asked to pay for private services in advance.

Road Traffic accidents

Under the Road Traffic Act 1988, the first doctor to provide emergency treatment to the victim of a road traffic accident is generally entitled to charge a fee:

  • A fee may be levied in respect of each person treated (Section 158(2). This fee is £21.30
  • treatment provided at the GP's surgery is included in the definition of 'emergency treatment' and therefore attracts a fee under the Road Traffic Act
